Every light is individually addressable, so the product runs school colors, a cause color or a holiday scene and returns to warm white the next night.

RGB-only systems mix red, green and blue to approximate white, and on a house that reads bluish or greenish. OmniRGB runs split diodes — dedicated 3000K warm white LEDs alongside the RGB — so the same roofline can be architectural warm white every night of the year and full color whenever you want it.

Shine is a certified installer of OmniRGB, which uses split diodes — dedicated 3000K warm white LEDs alongside the RGB, instead of mixing RGB to approximate white. That is the difference between architectural lighting you run every night and a system that only looks right in December. What happens on the day

1. Step 01

   Design consultation and measurement

   We walk the property, measure the roofline and identify which runs, gables and structures should be lit and where OmniRGB track can be mounted cleanly.

2. Step 02

   Track color and channel layout

   You choose track color from the available finishes to match trim, gutter or fascia, and we lay the runs out as separate channels so sections can be controlled independently.

3. Step 03

   Installation with concealed track

   Track is fastened to the fascia, drip edge or soffit and wiring is routed out of sight to the controller, using individually waterproof connectors rated for outdoor use. No fasteners through roofing.

4. Step 04

   App setup, scenes and schedules

   We connect the controller over WiFi or Bluetooth, set up the Omni app on your phone, and program the scenes and schedules you will actually use, including sunset and sunrise triggers and dimming levels.

5. Step 05

   After-dark walkthrough and handoff

   We review the scenes with you after dark, show you how to build and schedule your own, and go over both layers of coverage — Omni's product warranty and our workmanship guarantee.

How pricing works

Every property is quoted individually after a walkthrough or a set of photos. These are the factors that move a permanent lighting quote up or down.

• Total linear footage of roofline being covered
• Number of stories and how difficult the roof is to access safely
• Number of separate runs or structures being lit
• Complexity of the roofline — peaks, dormers, returns and short segments take longer than straight runs
• Electrical access and where the controller can be placed

What to expect

Do you need to be home?

Yes for the initial design walk and the final app setup. Not required during the install.

How long it takes

Most installs take one to two days depending on roofline length.

How to prepare

Confirm an exterior outlet near the planned controller location, clear ladder access around the home, and move vehicles from under the eaves.

Not included in this service

• New circuits, panel upgrades or other high-voltage electrical work
• Fascia, soffit or gutter repair required before mounting
• Interior lighting or smart-home integration beyond the lighting app
• Seasonal ground displays, wreaths and inflatables
• Removal or repair of a competitor's existing track system
• Labor is not covered by the Omni manufacturer warranty
• The manufacturer warranty does not transfer to a new owner if the property is sold

Can you see it during the day?

Barely. The OmniRGB track is low-profile and concealed under the drip edge or into the soffit, and it comes in multiple colors so it can be matched to your trim, gutter or fascia. From the street in daylight it reads as part of the trim line.

Will it look like Christmas lights year-round?

No, and that is the whole reason we install OmniRGB. It has dedicated 3000K warm white diodes running alongside the RGB rather than mixing RGB to fake white. RGB-only systems produce a bluish or greenish cast that looks wrong on a house; a true warm white does not.

How is it controlled?

Through the Omni app over WiFi or Bluetooth, with third-party app control also supported. You can set colors and scenes, dim, control individual sections, and schedule on and off times including sunset and sunrise triggers with built-in timers.

Does it damage the roof or gutters?

No. The track fastens to the fascia, drip edge or soffit. We do not put fasteners through roofing material or shingles, and gutters are not used as a load-bearing mounting point. The system is UL, ETL and cUL certified and rated for outdoor use with individually waterproof connectors.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Two separate things. Omni provides a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser covering defects in materials and workmanship in the product — it does not include labor, it is non-transferable and is voided by transfer of property ownership, and it excludes misuse, improper installation, unauthorized alteration, natural disasters and normal cosmetic wear. Shine's workmanship guarantee on the installation itself is separate from that manufacturer coverage, and we will go over its terms with you in writing.

What happens if a section stops working?

Because every light is individually addressable, we can identify the specific failed segment or connection and replace it without redoing the run.
